Abstract

We report a 12.8-Tbit/s (10-ch, 1.28-Tbit/s), 320 Gbaud PDM-DQPSK transmission over 1500 km using optical Nyquist pulses. A BER below a 20%-overhead FEC threshold (2*10-2) was successfully achieved for all WDM channels and OTDM tributaries.
