A capacitor hank of 60 kJ energy Is employed as the power supply. A maximum current of 30 kA can he obtained nvory two seconds and the charging voltagt; is 10 kV. A Bitter typt! magnet with threelayor structure has been developed. Bittor plates made of CuAg alloy are used as the conductor and thin fiberreinforcedplastic sheets are used as the insulator botwcon the Bitter plates. The height of the solenoid type magnet is about 22 cm and the inner bore is 3 cm. The weight is about 30 kg. The pulse duration time of the magnet is about 1 ms. A pulsed neutronsource at ICI3K was combined with this system and neutron diffraction experiments were made in very high magnetic fields above 25 T,
