300-GHz-Band Operation of UTC-PD-Integrated HEMT Photonic Double-Mixer

Abstract

We experimentally investigated the operation of the UTC-PD-integrated HEMT photonic double-mixer for optical-to-wireless carrier frequency down-conversion at the 300-GHz band. We measured a frequency characteristic of the double-mixing conversion gain and clarified the issues for its improvement.
