N2 - 5,10-Bis(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)naphtho[1,2-c:5, 6-c′]bis[1,2,5]thiadiazole was successfully developed by the direct borylation reaction on the parent heterocycle and was utilized for the synthesis of naphtho[1,2-c:5,6-c′]bis[1,2,5]thiadiazole-based donor-acceptor copolymers.
