Abstract
Description of a 10Gb/s 1:8 demultiplexer (DEMUX) IC is presented. It is designed for the optical fiber-link-systems. The DEMUX uses 0.18 μm CMOS process. It uses feedback MOS current mode logic (MCML) for speed. This logic provides tolerance to the threshold voltage fluctuation and is suitable for GHz deep-submicron CMOS.
