A C2H2 frequency-stabilized laser diode with a linewidth of 4 kHz and its application to an optical phase-locked loop

Abstract

We report a narrow linewidth 13C2H2 frequency-stabilized laser diode with an FM-eliminated output. The frequency stability reached as high as 2.3×10-11 (t=1 s). A low phase noise OPLL is demonstrated using this laser.
