Abstract

A current-mode circuit which implements a model of a single neuron with chaotic dynamics is proposed. The existence of chaotic dynamics in a prototype circuit is demonstrated by SPICE simulations. The proposed circuit is applicable to implementation of a chaotic neural network composed of such neuron models on a VLSI chip.
