Abstract

2-Phosphavinylidene group was introduced by the corresponding tri-methylsilyllithio compound toward carbonyl compounds to give 1-phosphaallenes, whereas 1,3-diphosphaallene was prepared by the reaction of 1-chloro-2-phosphavinyllithium toward a phosphinous chloride followed by dehydrochlorination.
