Abstract

A new method for measuring heart vibrations on the ventricle wall is proposed in order to acoustically diagnose such dysfunctions. This method uses ultrasound to diagnose the acoustic characteristics of various parts of the ventricle wall such as local plasticity and local elasticity, which depend on the dysfunction of the heart muscle. From the experiments, the accuracy of the proposed method is evaluated.
