Abstract

We have developed the system to collect disaster information quickly and effectively and executed three experiments. The system can collect the fire damage and the building damage from a high altitude with a laser range finder. This system has the following features: 1) The system can measure the position of the damage place from a high altitude. 2) Investigator's safety can be secured from a fire and the secondary disaster. 3) Damage information at large areas can be collected at short time. 4) It is possible to use it from motorcycle, car, and helicopter. We applied the system to three experiments, and confirmed its validity and effectiveness.
