Abstract

The supercritical-fluids simulator developed by our group Is applied to the simulation of flows of arbitrary substance In arbitrary conditions. This simulator is based on the preconditioning method coupled with the PROPATH database. Since the database has the set of thermal properties for 48 substances, the present method can be applied to such substances. In this paper, substances such as carbon-dioxide, water, and nitrogen in several pressure and temperature conditions are calculated and the calculated results are compared with each other.
