Absolute frequency stabilization of a laser diode based on triple ring resonators to an C 2H 2 absorption line

Abstract

We demonstrate the frequency stabilization of a laser diode based on waveguide triple external ring resonators to an 13C 2H 2 absorption line. The frequency stability reached 6.8x10 -11 for τ=1 s and 1.0x10 -11 for τ=100 s. Furthermore, a RIN of -140 dB/Hz and a linewidth of 100 kHz were simultaneously achieved.
