Abstract

In the present study, the adaptation behavior of the users to the different level of tele-operation support has been examined to evaluate the effect of intelligent support system during the skill development phase. The primary concern here is to examine the dependence of the operators' training procedure under situations where different level of support function are present. The constraint-based support utilizing the virtual force feedback has been devised with different level of enforcing for the tele-operation system. The results of the experiments has shown some insights concerning the operators' behavior in tele-operation task under the different support conditions.
