Abstract

In this paper, we propose an advanced communication infrastructure of the agent-based middleware for ubiquitous computing environments. We focus on an adaptive communication mechanism between agent platforms, which can select a suitable communication scheme flexibly, based on properties of interagent communications and resource statuses. We performed some further experiments based on the results of initial experiments by using the prototype system with the proposed mechanism. From the additional results, we confirmed that the dynamic change of inter-platform communication scheme works effectively in orderto realize the inter-agent communication requirements.
