N2 - We have previously developed a novel electrochemical device consisting row and column electrodes for high-throughput electrochemical detection. The row and column electrodes were orthogonally arranged on the device and connected to inter-digitated array (IDA) electrodes at individual crossing points. Since electrochemical responses from each IDA electrode can be acquired with a novel detection system based on redox cycling, a 2D electrochemical image on the device can be constructed from the electrochemical responses. In this study, the device was applied for a real-time monitoring of enzyme activity and detection of cell topology.
