An Analysis of the Behavior of a Parametric Induction Motor with Squiare–Wave Input Voltage

Abstract

Operating characteristics of a parametric induction motor with a sinusoidal input voltage were calculated by a magnetic circuit model proposed by the authors. This paper describes an analysis of the behavior of the parametric induction motor with a square-wave input voltage based on this magnetic circuit model. The analytical results of oscillation voltage versus slip relations and load characteristics show good agreement with the experimental results.
