Abstract

A three-dimensional turbulent spray combustion simulation by Large Eddy Simulation in a gas turbine combustor was carried out. A new eddy characteristic time model was constructed. Flow field, temperature and CO2 mole fraction distributions were shown. It was indicated that LES calculation result of temperature is superior to k-ε 2-equation simulation result.
