N2 - Analysis of source bus line current inside of an active matrix type liquid crystal display is proposed based on a microstrip line model, consisting of the source bus line and ITO resistances, the source bus line inductance and the liquid crystal capacitance. Experimental study was also performed using a planar shielded loop type magnetic probe we previously developed. The model well explains a linear decrease of intensity of source bus line current and non linear increase of its rise time as the current propagates away from the source driver.
