Abstract
The magnetic phase diagram of CeP has been investigated by neutron diffraction under high pressures up to 5.6 GPa. Above 3 GPa, the ground state becomes ferromagnetic, then the Ce moment starts to decrease rapidly from ≈ 1.9μB (3 GPa) to ≈ 1.0μB (5 GPa). At 5.6 GPa, no magnetically ordered Ce moment could be detected.
