Abstract

A highly enantioselective 1,4-addition of aryltrialkoxysilanes to α,β-unsaturated esters and amides was successfully catalyzed by a chiral rhodium complex generated from [Rh(cod)(MeCN)₂]BF₄ and (S)-BINAP.
