Abstract

Asymmetric Janus particles, which have unique transmission properties responding to the magnetic field, and surface functionalization of surfaces were prepared by simple solvent evaporation method (Self-ORganized Precipitation, SORP). By using asymmetric Janus particles, new types of reflection and transmission displays can be realized.
