Abstract
A novel mechanism of spontaneous baryogenesis was discussed. This mechanism requires a derivative coupling between a scalar field and a baryon current. Baryogenesis was discussed in the context of a flat direction with neither baryon nor lapton charge. The results show that baryogenesis is still possible even if a scalar field derivatively couples not to baryon current, but to other currents such as the lepton current and/or the Peccei-Quinee (PQ) current.
