Abstract

A study was conducted on the Fermi antenna for millimeter-wave imaging applications by using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. As such, an axially symmetric E-plane and H-plane pattern was obtained in the case of a Fermi antenna with narrow width substrate. Moreover, experimental investigations were also performed confirming that the radiation patterns obtained by the numerical analysis almost agree with the measurements.
