Abstract
The electronic states of a quasi-one-dimensional conductor CuxV4O11 system with x≧2 have been studied through the use of magnetic resonance measurements. The system undergoes magnetic and structural transitions at Tc≃300 K. In particular, the transitions in the compound where x > 2 are characterized by a charge transfer between the Cu and V ions, where the 3d-electrons of V and Cu ions contribute to the magnetic properties in the temperature region above and below Tc, respectively.
