Abstract

We have applied a time-resolved absorption spectroscopy to investigate the charge transfer (CT) processes in the Prussian Blue-type cyanides M II[FeIII(CN)6]0.675H2O (M = Mn, Co) embedded in a Nafion fim. In the Mn-Fe cyanide, we observed the bleaching of the CT band at 2.4 eV, similar to that found in the Co-Fe cyanide. We found that the lifetime of the photo-induced CT state in Mn-Fe cyanide shows significant dependence on the excitation photon energy. This is in sharp contrast to the case of The Co-Fe cyanide.
