Abstract

We investigated the chemical doping into poly(diacetylene) crystals, and found that nanocrystals of poly(diacetylene) can be doped because of a softened crystalline lattice, resulting in a conductivity of ca. (1.3 ± 0.8) × 10-2S/cm, which is close to the highest value ever reported for chemically doped poly(diacetylene) crystals.
