Abstract

The observation of chiral degeneracy in the odd-odd triaxial Rhodium at a spin of 17 was discussed. Effects of chirality for the odd-odd nuclei were first observed in the region where triaxial deformations were expected and where A≅ 130. Doublet rotational bands related to the nuclear chirality were also observed in the odd-odd nuclei triaxial shapes. These doublet bands were found to depict characteristic fingerprints related to the restoration of of chiral symmetry.
