N2 - The effect of Sr substitution for Ba on the superconducting transition temperature Tcof Ba Pb1-xBixO3ceramics has been investigated for series of various Pb/Bi ratio. At the semiconducting region (x=0.32), the shift of Tcis proportional to the added Sr-content. At the metallic region (x=0.20, there is a peak in the Tcvs Sr-composition diagram. The result is discussed in comparison with the pressure effect of the superconductivity of this compound reported previously.
