Abstract

We reported a decision tree analysis to explore a host material of Eu 2+-doped phosphors focusing on their emission wavelength. The emission wavelengths of investigated phosphors correlated well with a simple function of their stoichiometry. Our proposed rule would be useful for a first screening of host materials for Eu2+-doped phosphors.
