Abstract

This paper reports the method to enrich aqueous microdroplet contents to the desired concentration by flowing nanodroplets around the microdroplets. In this method, by changing the size (amount of water) of the nanodroplets, enrichment factor of the sample can be adjusted. This method is expected to be applied to bioassay for trace sample concentration such as single cells and single molecules.
