N2 - This paper discusses the concurrent creation of behavior and segmentation for autonomous mobile robots. To this end, a neuromodulated neural network is employed, and is applied to a back-trailer problem as a practical example. Simulation results indicate that the concept of polymorphic circuit due to a neuromodulation mechanism provides an efficient means to achieve this requirement without less human intervention.
