Abstract

Single-component Langmuir-Blodgett films of a dithiolate complex [Au(tmdt)₂] (tmdt^2- = bis(methylthio)tetrathiafulvalenedithiolate) were prepared. The as-grown films were insulating, which became semiconducting with the activation energy of 0.05 eV after electrochemical doping.
