Abstract

Using two pump beams with wavelengths of 1. 32 mu m and 1. 34 mu m, a continuum spectrum in a multimode fiber is newly generated with relatively low pump power of 1. 5 kw for each wavelength. The continuum spectrum is attributable to the superposition of sequential stimulated Raman scatterings and forced four-photon mixing processes.
