Abstract

After East-Japan Catastrophic Disasters in March 2011, many communication network systems did not work due to lost electric power supply. In order to construct disaster-resilient networks, building strong power supply systems for operating network equipments in each network node are inevitable. Furthermore, controlling network according to the situation of electric power sources in each node is required for operating network effectively. In this study, we will examine various approaches for operating networks effectively even when power supply is lost by a disaster.
