Abstract

The summer outdoor thermal environments of a real residential building cluster in Guangzhou, China with different urban planning factors such as building layout, building coverage ratio, floor area raio, first floor overhead ratio and green coverage ratio are investigated by the coupled CFD simulation of convection, radiation and conduction. The effects of above urban planning factors on outdoor thermal environment are obtained. And correlation analysis is carried out to obtain their correlation coefficients with pedestrian mean thermal parameters.
