Abstract

UCoGe is known to show microscopic coexistence of superconductivity and ferromagnetism. Here we present physical properties of a single crystalline sample of UCoGe, and show that the magnetism is understood within an itinerant electron picture. Further we estimate characteristic parameters (T 0∼4×102K and TA∼6×10 3K) of the self-consistent renormalization (SCR) theory of spin fluctuations to argue the correlation of ferromagnetism with superconductivity.
