    Abstract

The authors regret the fact that the article above contains errors in some of the statistical data due to the mislabeling of animal ID. The authors would like to correct these errors as below according to the accurate data. Method: The number of subject was wrong in the method Section 2.5. It is correct as follows (the corrected part is in bold letters): 2.5. Stereotaxic surgery for injection of the oxytocin antagonist, page 25, the first sentence: “… or saline (saline group, n = 7) in to the MPOA and adjacent area.”. The second sentence: “…mice were infused with an OTA or saline as described above (OTA group, n = 9; saline group, n = 7).” Result: We would like to correct the statistical data of results in Section 3.5. as follow (the corrected part is in bold letters): 3.5. The effects of an oxytocin antagonist on the facilitating effect of pup exposure, page 27, the first sentence: “Repeated two-way ANOVA revealed that there were significant effects in exposure session [first pup: F (1, 18) = 6.910, p <.05; second pup: F (1, 18) = 10.231, p <.01; third pup: F (1, 18) = 10.732, p <.01], and group [first pup: F (1, 18) = 6.196, p <.05; third pup: F (1, 18) = 4.738, p <.05]. In addition, there were significant interactions between exposure session and group [first pup: F (1, 18) = 52.292, p <.01; second pup: F (1, 18) = 15.560, p <.01; third pup: F (1, 18) = 17.567, p <.01].”. The second sentence: “Repeated two-way ANOVA revealed that there were significant effects in expression session [first pup: F (1, 14) = 26.467, p <.01; second pup: F (1, 14) = 14.710, p <.01; third pup: F (1, 14) = 10.988, p <.01].”. “The latencies of retrieving the first pup in both the OTA and saline groups were decreased in the re-exposure session compared to the initial exposure session (first pup: Fig. 5D OTA: p <.01; saline: p <.01; second pup: Fig. 5D, OTA: p <.05; saline: p <.01; third pup: Fig. 5D, saline: p <.05). Figure caption: We would like to correct the caption in Fig. 5. as follow (the correct part is listed in bold letters): page 26, line 1 of caption: “Subjects were injected with an OTA (OTA, n = 13) or saline (saline, n = 7) into the POA. Page 26, line7 of caption: “…mice were injected with an OTA (n = 9) or saline (n = 7).” The authors sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
