Abstract
In this study, transpiration rate of Zelkova serrata was measured and model parameters of stomatal conductance model were identified for the prediction of transpiration rate on typical summer days according to the following procedure. 1. The influences of solar radiation, vapor pressure deficit and soil water content on transpiration rate were analyzed. 2. Transpiration model and stomatal conductance model suitable for predicting transpiration rate of single tree were selected and model parameters of the stomatal conductance model were identified using the measurement result. 3. The accuracy of transpiration rate and leaf surface temperature prediction using the above model was validated.
