Abstract

A new siRNA delivery system made of a functional cycloamylose nanogel is reported. Cholesterol-bearing cationic cycloamylose formed nanogels by self-assembly in water. The nanogels formed 20-40 nm nanoparticles that bound to 21 bp siRNA. The complexes exerted an RNAi effect on SCC7-GL3 cells that stably express the luciferase gene.
