Abstract

In this study, DEM (Distinct Elements Method) simulation model of crushing for concrete blocks by the mobile crusher was developed and numerical simulation was carried out. Prior to the numerical simulation, the crushing for the concrete blocks were carried out by using the actual mobile crusher, and particle size distribution of fragments was obtained. Then, numerical simulation was carried out and particle size distribution of fragments was obtained from the simulation results. By comparing the experimental results and simulation results, it was confirmed that the DEM model of crushing was reasonable.
