Abstract

The sinterability, mechanical, and dielectric properties of Ca 0.7Sr0.3TiO3 ceramics were investigated using Li2Si2O5 as a sintering additive. The Ca 0.7Sr0.3TiO3 ceramics, together with alumina and silica glass, were applied for the degradation of CO2 to CO and O2 using the dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma without the help of any catalyst. The characteristics of the DBD plasma were investigated using different dielectric materials and input frequencies. It was found that a higher permitivitty of the electric barrier initiates a denser and stronger current pulse and yields a greater efficiency for DBD plasma reaction.
