Design of an RF system for the ATF damping ring

Abstract

This paper describes the overall design of an RF system for the ATF damping ring (DR). The RF system comprises four single-cell cavities, one 250-kW klystron, a WR 1150 waveguide network and a low-level RF system. The system parameters, layouts and development of the principal components are given.
