Abstract

An analysis and design method on a simple quasi-reflectionless (QR) filter topology is proposed. The topology of single-port QR filter is composed by a pair of coupled lines with bandpass response and a cascaded structure with bandstop response. The single-port QR bandpass filter (BPF) and bandstop filter (BSF) can be realized by replacing the corresponding port with lossy resistance in filter topology, and both of them have identical QR property. Finally, a two-port QR BPF is further analyzed and simulated, with good filtering performance and QR property.
