N2 - The purpose of this study is to extract hidden healthcare requirements from users as a trial to design a new smart healthcare service. We took providing essential oils as one example of healthcare services as the oils are one of alternative medicines and well known having market potential. As the research method, we collected freely described words by users and analyzed using text mining. Features of recognitions such as perceptions about the purpose, location and time of health care for users were extracted. Furthermore, gender gaps in the recognitions were found. Based on the analysis results, several concepts for designing a new service were derived. Implementing the process of this research on the Internet and accumulating information by users enables various concepts related to healthcare to be dynamically designed. This smart healthcare service is expected to provide a sustainable service that is suitable to the situation of users and companies in the changing environment.
