Abstract

In this paper, a new coherent scatterers selection in GB-SAR is presented. Instead of evaluating the temporal stability of the pixels, this approach interleaved along frequency direction to obtain sub-images from one dataset. Pixels satisfied low values of entropy along these sub-images have been selected as coherent scatterers. The performance of the proposed approach has been evaluated by real GB-SAR data acquired both in the urban and rural area, and the final coherent scatterers maps obtained by proposed approach are compared with conventional dispersion of amplitude approach. Both approachs selected almost identical coherent scatterers. But, coherent scatterers with short temporal characterized properties were selected by the proposed approach.
