Abstract

Tohoku University has developed three 50-kg micro satellite and one 2.6-kg cubesat, two of which have been already being operated in space. They are mainly dedicated to earth observation science. The mission instruments are CMOS sensors for sprite lightning events, 5-m resolution high precision telescope (HPT, 10-cm dia., 1-m focal length), multi-spectrum observation by liquid crystal tunable filter (650nm - 1050nm), mid-infrared bolometer array, and so on. In this paper, the specifications of satellite series and the common ground operation system are shown.
