Abstract
In clinical study, tumor/muscle ratios from 12 sites of 8 patients evaluated by PET were 0.8-2.14, and average ratio except for radiosensitive malignant lymphoma (1.07) and small cell lung cancer (1.0) was 1.58. Because of low lipophilicity of the tracer, the background activities decreased rapidly. We conclude from these data that [ 18F]FRP-170 is a promising new hypoxia marker in cancer patients.
