Abstract

A contact microscope was developed with the use of a scintillator plate which shows high quantum efficiency and linearity in the soft X-ray (SX) wavelength region. With the use of the scintillator plate, a SX image can be observed instantly by a visible (VI) optical microscope. Transmittance spectra of rat hepatic cells are shown to demonstrate as the performance of the contact microscope.
