Abstract

We report a case of the idiopathic pulmonary apical fibrocystic disease, which is the rare condition of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis that progresses without any preceding disorder. Our case showed chronic firm progression despite any treatment dominantly in the upper lung field and was finally treated with unilateral lung transplantation from a cerebral death donor.
