Abstract

We propose a signage system that allows users to plan routes for commercial complexes by offering simultaneous group operations and transmits the plan contents to mobile phones. To evaluate the proposed system, we experimentally compared its planning and visiting of shops to an ordinary web-based signage system. Based on the results of 20 pairs of participants, the proposed system had higher operability and produced greater satisfaction in both planning and visiting than web-based signage.
